Part of the 'Garden Series' inspired by the RHS Tatton Park show 2012. I'm painting direct from life in the garden, keeping my marks minimal and impressions limited but purposeful trying to capture the moment when the wind breathes through the flora. Zephyr was the gentle wind of the west and the interceder between the World of the living and the Underworld. Zephyr was the fresh wind who brought the spring rains that were so valuable for awakening the nature. Mixed media work on plywood 55 x 80cm.
