Pallas

Pallas is a wise warrior Goddess (Greek) she is the daughter of Zeus. Pallas relates to our ability to trust our intuition and inner wisdom, to stand up for our integrity rather than dwelling in emotional mode. Pallas can represent the 'father daughter' relationship. Issues around the paternal side. 2 again is the number of the Moon, balance, contrast and opposites. Doing best for your soul. The white horse dominant in this painting is taken directly from one of my first drawings I did as a child kept by my father. It resonates with the notion of Pallas. Pallas is often depicted in art with an owl linking to her special visual perception, the horses' eye is my owl. The background features objects from the Nevada desert ranch - spinning and weaving, needlework and visual art traits are credited to Pallas much like my own.
