Outlook To Capel Curig

There is a small solitary outbuilding on the road to Capel Curig. Surrounded by this immense landscape. It feels isolated, a retreat to shelter from nature, but also a very special place to observe its wondrous surroundings...fields of burnt sienna and umber gorse and heathers, punctuated by ancient trees blown sideways by the wind…at the foot of Snowdonia. With its distinctive turquoise door and shutters...those who have followed this route will undoubtedly remember it as a landmark, a point on their journey…it is ingrained in my memory with familiarity. 49 x 36 cm unframed. 71 x 54 framed. Oil on plywood.
