A recent trip to Paris. Imagery comes from the hidden parts of the Louvre, the servants quarters and the everyday and primitive against the grand are very striking to me. At the same time a poster exhibition by Toulouse Lautrec and others is shown at The Musée des Arts de la Mode et du Textile - graphic shapes and striking colours and confident marks say much about this city.
