The luminosity of the white inside the oyster shell reminds me of the brightest cloudy skies above the sea, the vibrancy of the light dancing through the fine porcelain like that of a sea worn shell fragment. 'Atargatis' was a goddess of fertility but also the first described Mermaid goddess.
