A dimunitive still- life of a 17th Century Delft saucer/bowl houses three tiny eggs. The white glazed faience bowl has the same fragility of the eggs, it's delicate ceramic surface has aged into a translucent appearance. The eggs and the bowl reflect the soft Winter's light from my studio window.
