Welsh for "Spoons". Part of the Plas Mawr, Conwy Series. These wooden spoons attached to the lime washed plaster wall. You can imagine when their irregular shapes were handcarved into these instruments by hand, the person dedicating time and care and love of the form..then to go on to be used to cook everyday with love to enrich lives. The sap which made the tree strong living on in these simplistic human forms. The beauty of the everyday, the warmth of the object. 63 x 83 cm framed. Mixed media on paper. SOLD.
